On August 30th around 2:00 p.m. central time till 6:00 p.m. I will be over at Lexis Book Bliss’s Facebook page. My plan – giveaways, games, and maybe a surprise or two. So, come check out Book Bliss we would love to have you!
Now, here comes the best part, on that same day, I’m going to be in Oklahoma City meeting some of my favorite authors such as Colleen Hoover, Jamie McGuire, and Kendall Grey! Here’s the banner so you can see how epic this event will be.
I am still working very hard on Ice Bound, I’m about 88 percent complete with it and then off it will go to editing. I’m really pumped with this story because it has a completely different view on the Crescent Bound world through Marc’s perception. I’m hoping my readers will enjoy it as much as I am writing it.
So, on to the next topic. Recently, I’ve had a couple of email and Facebook messages about Daylight – No Death for the Wicked. The question is if and when there will be a sequel. The answer is yes there will be and the title is Midnight. This post is the only place you can see the new cover for Midnight. Just for you, here it is.
Mattie and Graham will learn there’s more at stake, literally. Both will have their own set of challenges. Graham fighting to maintain his existence in the world Mattie resides in and not be condemned to the underworld infinitely. And Mattie, she holds something extremely valuable that the Elites want back and they will use whatever force necessary to reclaim their serum and the Voynich Manuscript, an ancient book of vampire secrets.
This story, along with book two in the Veil Realm Series – Citeron will be next on my writer’s desk. Both of these stories are ready to possess the pages. I just need old man time to loan me a few more hours in my days. 😉
I LOVE hearing from fans and readers that enjoy my work. Please don’t ever feel like you’re intruding by writing me. Reading your words absolutely make my days! So, feel free anytime to contact me. ❤
It has been said that autism in a family causes isolation. I can confess that in my family it has done just that. There are many kids living with autism that have sequestered themselves due to over stimulation leading to meltdowns, none of these experiences are fun for the child, parent, or bystanders. What I discovered is that there is one place which allows for the openness a child with autism needs, and that is a park, a big wide open park. So, during April, all my sales of all my books went toward hosting a picnic in the park in my hometown.
We had a nice, supportive turn out. The best part was that the kids had a chance to run and play. We put together a decent spread of picnic food and shared time together with some amazing families. This post is to say thank you to everyone that purchased my books in April. You helped share some quality time with some awesome kids. Thank you so much!
Here are some photos from the picnic in the park.
Thank you again and stay tuned, more to come! ❤
Some things in life become long overdue. In writing, I like to say the long anticipated addition to the series. This is the last line I wrote today. “The End” So, you know what that means? No, it is not being published yet. Rounds of editing are due up next. Will it be out in August? I certainly hope so. I even will go as far as to think so. Can I promise you? Nope, but we can hope and anticipate together now, because as of tomorrow it is out of my hands and into the editor’s.
This novel was quite a challenge for me on so many different levels. It pushed me to nosedive right into a medieval type world, and build my own fictitious nature to it. I hope that everyone will enjoy it and fall in love with the world I created. I want you to relive Marcus’s past life. I originally wrote the Crescent Bound series thinking I was writing about Alyssa and her life. I have now learned that it may be more about Marc and his life and discoveries than I ever thought before. This novel should shed some light on that note for you.
Since I promised in blood to have this one out in July, I owe you all some blood. I will be bleeding for you with updates right here on my blog.
Here is a little something to wet your appetite.
My inspiration for King Landalin
The Seer and Witch, Marda, that fell in love with prince Landalin in their youth
The Seer and Shadow Walker – Alissa (aka Alyssa)
*The meaning behind her name – The spelling of her name was formed from a plant called the alyssum flower, in a time they had thought it would cure madness. *
King Marcus and Alissa
***I highly recommend reading this series in order, Demon Bound (book 3) is definitely a must before diving into this book, it will make sense of why and how this story is revealed.***
As promised I will keep updated posts on here and hopefully soon I will have the book trailer for you!
I want to give everyone an update on Shadow Bound. One fateful day, not that long ago, I had an accident. Well, my laptop had the accident. The result of that was a major section of Shadow Bound was lost in the literal crashing of my computer with the floor.
I was fuming mad and in tears all at the same time. Fortunately, I had a backup, to an extent. Several of the major scenes in the book were lost. I felt so distraught over this that I had to set aside Shadow Bound for a while.
I am now back at it and working hard to complete this forth installment into the Crescent Bound saga. Here is a taste of what I am working on…
I set a release date for late June, well, that is approaching so fast I now see that for this book to be the quality I want then I will need more time. It is a huge pet peeve of mine to make a promise and then not be able to deliver on that date. It tears me up, but I keep telling myself that you, the reader, want a great book, not an alright book that could have been better. So with that thought process in mind I am moving the release date of Shadow Bound into late July. No exact date, but I believe this delay will help me complete Shadow Bound properly.
Here is another sampling of what you are patiently waiting on.
Shadow Bound is coming, it won’t be delayed again, that I promise in blood. I will keep everyone updated as my progress toward the end nears. I also want to share the book cover with you.
Thanks for your support, understanding, and kind words of encouragement.
I have had several questions in regard to the final two books in the Crescent Bound Series. I know everyone is anxiously waiting for Shadow Bound and Ice Bound and if everything goes as planned (crossing fingers and toes) we should see them out this Summer. I want to give a little insight about Pine Needles and why it’s making an appearance now. I completely believe in a writer’s muse, and yes, I know some may not. So, I’m only speaking from my point of view on this, but when a story comes to me it drives me nuts until I have the chance to type it all out. Sometimes it’s simply a scene or two, but last year I saw this image and the story completely unfolded for me, from beginning to end.
The world I created in Pine Needles is so different that it stretched my own imagination. Nothing is stable, everything is always changing and evolving. I allowed the characters Rayden and Selene to tell their own story without inhibitions, or censorship. It is an adventure story of survival and that in itself affects ones life, love, and loyalty. If you like sci-fi Dystopian adventure novels, then this one might be for you.
So… are we ready for this? I think so.

Daylight is my first Vampire Novel. It is no ordinary Vampire Love Story.
Coming March 25, 2013.
In a small spectrum of the world is a city full of vampires and a very rare serum. This serum allows a vampire to walk in the light of day. The formula has been guarded for thousands of years, and yet a young female vampire from the north claims to have lived on the serum as if it is common place…
This can not be… This must be dealt with.
Mattie desires two things, getting Daylight back and Him.
Here is an audio excerpt of Graham from the novel Daylight. The extract is read by Emmy winning Irish Actor Writer and film maker – Alan Cooke. You don’t want to miss this!

Alan, my author bio ends with, my ideal world would be one of open-minded kindness from everyone. You have given me a better understanding of this. Your voice gives my character, Graham, a life he would never have. And the readers a chance to experience a piece of my writing in a way that still sends chills through me. Please accept my heart felt thanks for doing this. I hope that we can expand on what we have started! You Rock!
